Visiting Portland Soon?
Get in a Workout at Our Centrally Located Do-Jang
Taekwon-do students who want to continue
their training while on vacation are welcome to come to our Portland Center,
which is close to downtown Portland and easily accessed by car or bus..
The center takes on an international flavor during the summer, as we host
visiting students from as far away as Europe and Asia.
We practice the traditional Chan-Hon
forms (starting with Chon-Ji), but if you have learned different forms,
you may do them during forms practice. A typical workout consists of warm
ups and stretching, line drills, forms, three-step and two-step sparring,
self-defense routines, kicking, combinations, free sparring and board breaking
(the latter for students above yellow belt).
Our sparring is controlled non-contact
and we have adults and children working out together in many classes, so
please be ready to adhere to the non-contact principles. And please bring
your belt and do-bok, particularly if you are going to be in town for awhile.
Cost
One day -- $10
One week -- $25
One month -- $80
